Welcome Home Western Decor

Follow me into the fields of tall grass and wonderful silhouettes of horses grazing in the meadow. Following me doesn’t require much travel especially when you can look into a lifelike picture of the blending orange and red western sky. Western Decor has flooded the homes of millions of Americans with its rich earth tones and lifelike pictures of horses and realistic sunsets. At its core is the language of romance only true lovers of the western world can appreciate. If you’ve been thinking of starting a new home decorating project you will be pleased with your choice of western decor.

The first and most noticeable place to begin a change is the living room. Most western styles include adding an eloquently designed tapestry throw most likely of a band of running horses or a crowd of cowboys standing to watch the sun go down. When using the western style of decorating it is always best to blend neutral colors with eye-catching designs inspired by nature. The most captivating piece of furniture in your decorating project should be a solid wood coffee table that was left unpainted as not to spoil its beauty. Wood carved furniture gives the living area a comfortable log cabin feel; unpainted furniture is an automatic eye catcher.

It is always best to choose a theme before starting any project, sticking to the theme however may prove hard with so many ideas to chose from. Whether horses or sunsets or cowboys always make sure every decorative item reflects the theme you have chosen. Adding matching tapestry pillows on the couch with the same theme as your tapestry throw will pull the entire look together, giving guest an added sense of the west with every visit. Western d้cor is mainly visual and often includes images that coincide with nature or the synonymous cowboy. The cowboy is the spokesperson for all things western. Whenever the word West is uttered the image of a tall, slim cowboy donned in leather cowboy boots and a big cowboy hat comes to mind. At least one piece of furniture or home accent has to be dedicated to the cowboy. Just like the cowboy no western design project is complete without an infamous faux fur throw placed casually over a chair. This imitation of real fur will appease the taste of animal lovers while accomplishing its desired look.

A commonly used faux fur throw is the white and black cow spots. It adds an added feeling of being in the company of real cowboys. It is because of western d้cor’s love of earth tones and animal themes that the faux fur throw thrives. Women who favor western themed decorating usually prefer adding this welcoming form of comfort because it gives any room a touch of luxury without the hefty price tag it also offers warmth on particularly cold winter nights. The price tag varies depending on the quality and size of the selected throw. The highest price expected to be paid is between two and three hundred dollars, a small price to pay when compared to all of the benefits of owning it.

Once you’re done decorating take a step back to admire your new room filled with all of its western decor and warm invitations to stay a while and reflect on the reasons you chose it in the first place.
